If you’ve been following my journey — from late-night writing sessions to small-town bars and those wild little stories that somehow turn into songs — today’s a big one. I’m proud to officially announce my new album, XI Songs From the Bar, a collection carved straight out of neon lights, empty glasses, good friends, heartbreak, hope, and every imperfect moment in between.

This album is the closest I’ve ever come to bottling up real life in song. These are stories overheard at the bar, lived at the bar, recovered from at the bar… and sometimes written right there on a napkin before last call. The characters are messy, honest, funny, drunk, lonely, loyal, wild, and absolutely real.
You’ll hear familiar voices in there too — like Bam Bam and Big John, who have been quietly building their own little universe in my songs and somehow find themselves stumbling into more adventures on this record. What started as a couple of names in a verse has turned into a whole cast of drinking friends with histories, inside jokes, and more than a few questionable decisions.
Why This Album Matters to Me
I’m 50 years old, starting a new chapter, and pouring everything I’ve got into songwriting — the one thing that makes me feel the most like myself. This album represents that leap. It’s me saying, I’m here, I’ve lived a lot, and I’ve still got stories worth singing about.
I hope this record makes you laugh, makes you nod along, reminds you of someone you know, or maybe brings you back to that one bar where everything in your life shifted just a little bit.
What to Expect
- Acoustic storytelling at its core
- Characters who feel like they exist somewhere out there right now
- Emotional corners you’ve probably turned yourself
- Humor, heart, and a little bit of hurt
- A songwriter doing exactly what he loves
Thank You
To everyone who’s been listening, sharing, pushing me forward, or just hanging out on YouTube as this little songwriting community grows — you’re a part of this album too.
