As a songwriter and musician, I’ve learned that time is one of the most valuable things I have.

This isn’t simply a remote-controlled lawn mower.
The company’s current models use combinations of RTK positioning, cameras, AI vision, LiDAR, 4G connectivity and app control to navigate lawns without traditional boundary wires.
That means the basic concept is:
Set it up → map the lawn → schedule the mowing → let the robot handle it.
That’s a pretty attractive proposition for anyone who doesn’t particularly enjoy mowing.
For me, the biggest selling point isn’t even the technology.
It’s time.
The Musician Test
Here’s how I look at a product like this.
If I’m spending two hours mowing the lawn, that’s two hours I’m not spending writing, recording or playing music.
And unlike a lot of household chores, mowing isn’t exactly a once-a-month job during growing season.
It’s repetitive.
It’s predictable.
And it’s something a robot is potentially very good at doing.
Imagine finishing a recording session on a Saturday afternoon and realizing the lawn looks great even though you haven’t touched a mower.
That’s the ANTHBOT proposition.
The robot handles the repetitive maintenance while I handle the creative stuff.
I’ll take that trade.
ANTHBOT M5: The One I’d Look At First
For someone with a relatively modest suburban lawn, the ANTHBOT M5 is probably the most interesting place to start.
The current U.S. listing shows the M5 at $679, with a regular price of $968 on the product page. It’s designed for lawns up to 500 square meters, or roughly 0.12 acre.

ANTHBOT says setup can take about 10 minutes and that the M5 is designed to handle narrow passages and tight corners.
For a typical smaller suburban lawn, that’s a pretty compelling package.
And there’s another interesting promotion currently displayed on the M5 product page: M5 + Garage for $679, with the garage promotion running August 7–25.
That’s the sort of bundle I’d pay attention to.
ANTHBOT M9: More Lawn, Same Basic Idea
If your property is bigger, the ANTHBOT M9 increases the recommended mowing area to 1,000 square meters.
The current U.S. site lists the M9 from $769, compared with a displayed regular price of $899 on the main site.
Like the M5, the M9 combines:
- RTK positioning
- Dual vision
- 4G
- Wire-free operation
- App control
- AI navigation
ANTHBOT describes the M9 as being designed for urban and suburban lawns, including yards with narrow passages and tight corners.
There’s also currently an M9 Ultimate Bundle listed at $1,196.
If you’re going to buy the mower plus accessories anyway, it’s worth comparing the bundle price against buying everything individually.
ANTHBOT N8: For the Bigger Lawn
The N8 is where things get more interesting.
It’s designed for lawns up to 1,500 square meters and is positioned as a 4-in-1 machine that can mow, mulch, collect and sweep.
The N8 currently sells for $1,699 on the U.S. site.
It also features:
- Full-band RTK
- Dual vision
- 4G
- 4,000 RPM cutting blades
- Multi-zone navigation
- A 23-liter auto-dumping collection bin
That last part is particularly interesting.
Most robot mowers simply cut the grass and leave the clippings behind.
The N8 adds collection and automatic dumping to the equation.
For someone who wants the lawn to look exceptionally clean rather than simply maintained, that’s a meaningful difference.
ANTHBOT Genie: The Value Play
Another model worth looking at is the ANTHBOT Genie.
The current U.S. listing shows the Genie at $699, down from $1,099—a displayed savings of $400.
The Genie uses a wire-free setup with RTK positioning and a vision system. ANTHBOT says its 300-degree human-like vision and 360-degree collision sensing can recognize and avoid more than 1,000 objects.
It also supports:
- Automatic or remote mapping
- Multiple lawn zones
- App control
- GPS tracking
- Obstacle avoidance
If you’re looking for an entry point into robotic mowing without jumping straight to the $1,000+ range, this is one of the models I’d compare against the M5.
What Makes ANTHBOT Different?
The biggest thing that stands out to me is the move away from traditional boundary-wire installation.
Nobody wants to spend an afternoon digging trenches or installing complicated perimeter systems just to get the lawn mower working.
ANTHBOT’s current lineup emphasizes wire-free navigation, using technologies such as RTK, vision and LiDAR depending on the model.
The M5 and M9 use RTK + dual vision.
The M5 LiDAR adds 360-degree LiDAR.
The N8 combines RTK, vision and 4G.
The Genie lineup uses RTK and vision-based navigation.
So you’re not looking at one robot with different paint jobs. There are meaningful differences between the product families.
The Musician Advantage: More Time for the Creative Stuff
This is the part I really like.
People sometimes talk about technology as if saving 30 minutes here or an hour there isn’t important.
It is.
Especially if you’re a musician.
An hour can be:
- Writing a verse
- Recording a guitar track
- Editing a music video
- Practicing vocals
- Answering booking emails
- Working on social media
- Mixing a song
- Or simply sitting down with a guitar and seeing what happens
And songwriting is one of those things where you can’t always schedule creativity.
If inspiration shows up, I want to be available for it.
I’d rather have the robot mowing the lawn while I’m sitting in the studio trying to figure out why the bridge doesn’t work.

So if you’re planning to purchase, it’s worth checking your ANTHBOT rewards account before paying.
What About a Universal ANTHBOT Coupon Code?
This is where I’d be careful.
I found official ANTHBOT pages advertising discount coupons and promotional codes, but I wouldn’t publish a generic coupon code as though it’s currently guaranteed to work if ANTHBOT isn’t publicly displaying that universal code now.
ANTHBOT’s anniversary promotion, for example, included limited 30% discount coupons, but the promotion terms state that only 20 of those coupons were available and that the codes couldn’t be combined. That particular anniversary promotion ran March 30–April 19, 2026, so I would not present those old codes as current.
That’s why the better current deals are the prices being displayed directly on ANTHBOT’s U.S. store.
The 30-Day Price Guarantee
Another thing worth mentioning is ANTHBOT’s current customer-purchase policy.
The company’s U.S. site advertises a 30-day price guarantee, along with 30-day money-back messaging and free shipping on orders over $99.
The robot-mower collection also advertises a 3-year warranty.
Those are important considerations when you’re spending several hundred or even more than a thousand dollars on an automated outdoor device.
Is a Robot Mower Actually Better Than a Regular Mower?
For everyone?
No.
If you enjoy mowing the lawn, there’s nothing wrong with using a traditional mower.
But if you view mowing as one of those chores that has to get done but contributes absolutely nothing to your quality of life, robotic mowing starts to make a lot more sense.
The biggest benefit isn’t necessarily that the robot cuts grass better.
It’s that you don’t have to be there while it happens.
That’s a major difference.
My ANTHBOT Verdict
As a songwriter and musician, I’m always looking for ways to eliminate repetitive tasks.
I don’t want to spend less time writing.
I don’t want to spend less time playing.
I don’t want to spend less time recording.
So if technology can take something repetitive off my plate without requiring me to babysit it, I’m interested.
That’s the real appeal of ANTHBOT.
The M5 makes sense for smaller suburban lawns.
The M9 steps up the coverage.

🎸 My Pick for the Musician
For a typical homeowner with a smaller-to-medium lawn, I’d start by looking at the M5 and Genie.
The current $679 M5 is especially interesting because the product page is also advertising the garage bundle at that same price during the current promotional window.
If you have more lawn, move up to the M9.
If you have a larger property and want grass collection as part of the package, look seriously at the N8.
And if you’re looking for the biggest discount currently displayed on a model, the Genie at $699 versus $1,099 is hard to ignore.
Final Thought
There’s a funny thing about being a songwriter.
You spend years trying to find more time to do the thing you actually care about.
Then you realize that some of that time is sitting right in front of you—hidden inside all the little chores and repetitive tasks you do every week.
If a robot can mow the lawn while I write a song, I’ll take the robot.
